Just rented the movie and was most impressed by the "snippets" of music interspersed throughout. The producers could not lose with tracks by the likes of Blondie, Marvin Gaye, 10cc, War, KC & the Sunshine Band, and Hot Chocolate.

Sure, all of the artists have had their work reused constantly, but the inclusion here elevates the film to somewhat memorable status.

Pass on buying the flick, but spend your change on the great soundtrack.

i'm agree with most of the reviewers, and i'd like to add something:does anybody notice the song " lift me up"(jeff lynne ex ELO)? is a masterpiece!!! i'm sure this is the kind of cd everybody should have in our houses

Well, for one thing the movie is HILLARIOUS! A must see movie-which I myself have already seen twice! So-as I am watching the movie, I'm thinking to myself--I love these songs & I must have this soundtrack! The songs go so well with the movie and they are such "feel good tunes"! Whoever put these songs with this particular film is a genious! Total work of art--and the movie is soooo funny! It's complete laughter through the entire movie-from start to finish! Everyone should go see this movie & then go buy the tunes-these are all songs we know and love and will be singing along with for years to come!

I haven't bought a cd in a long time but there was a few songs I wanted on this that I couldn't find anywhere else. The item was shipped to me within a few days and was in excellent condition. No scratches or anything else on the disc. It plays just fine. I would buy from again.

It doesn't have the song I was looking for. You know when he goes into the dance club and gets the overpriced martini and grape juice? There is a rap remix of Stayin' Alive as he is walking in. That one is not on here.

WHile this OST is decent, I will admit that Scary Movie AND Deuce Bigalow have this one song in them that plays in the MATRIX-spoof scene of BOTH movies. I can't find out who did it or what the name of it is. if anyone knows...PLEASE tell me. this is driving me up the f(_)cking wall! it's not listed on IMDB.com or any other internet related movie database. please please help me if you can. thanks!

If you like good, classic dansing songs, you will love this album. Every song in this album makes you want to get up and dance. Up-beat music which reminds you of the good times--- you can't go wrong. Get this album, you won't be disappointed.

This was a hilarious movie (note that I can spell)! The "Call Me" remix at the end had me up and dancing and annoying my buddy. hahah So, I HAD to get the soundtrack. This has some great old tunes, plus some neat, new stuff I have never heard before. Great job on this one!

I thought that the movie was quite humorous at times, but like the CD was average at best. Unless you are a hardcore 1970's music fan, you wouldn't appreciate this soundtrack all that much. I, personally, bought this CD for the 'Call Me' remix by Emilia Mojello. I love the remix for the fact that it has a nice 90's rock-ish touch to it. Blondie's version was fantastic in its own time but now sounds dated. Other than these two songs, there are some great 70's oldies songs on here that are sure to get your date/ spouce/ girl or boyfriend in the mood for some sweet lovin'. heh. Despite my average review, I would recommend this CD.
