I love this stuff! The trick (as I learned it at the DevaChan salon here in New York) is to use it in the shower, then put more on your hair as a leave-in while your hair is still sopping wet. You then flip your head and scrunch in some Angell. Take a t-shirt or microfiber towel and scrunch a lot of the moisture out of your hair, then scrunch in some more Angell. My hair comes out perfectly every day, and the best part is that these products are water-soluble so there is no fear of buildup. Love it, love it, love it.

I found out about this product from a woman with curly hair and doubted that it would work on my hair, which is really curly, dry, and tangled. However after using this product once I have no doubts in its ability to leave my hair super soft and managable. I recommend leaving the conditioner one under a plastic shower cap for at least 30 minutes, in order to let it really penetrate super kinky hair.

I do not use shampoo and have used this conditioner for over two years. It leaves my hair curly, shiny and soft. I swim every day in a chlorinated pool and I love the results I get from this conditioner. The price of this stuff, however, makes my husband's hair curl...

I have used this conditioner for over 8 years. It changed my life. I have tried the low poo but find that just the one-condition is perfect and all I need.
I have not used shampoo for over 6 years!
I have a little longer than shoulder length hair when it's dry. I use 3 pumps of conditioner like I was shampooing, rinse, 3 pumps for what would be conditioning, rinse and then 2 pumps before getting out of the shower that I leave in. During the conditioning I run my fingers through my hair to get out all of the tangles. I never use a comb or a brush on my hair.
When I get out of the shower I don't touch my hair with a towel. I use a cotton tshirt when I get out of the shower and wrap up my hair in it. I can leave it for a short time or 10-15 minutes and when I take the towel off it's still perfect.
I use the devacurl hair dryer with the "hand" defuser on occassion when I need to have my hair dry faster and it works great.
Try it you will absolutely love it.

I have used this stuff for years and I love it!! My "girl" told me use No-Poo no more than once a week, and follow it with One Condition. She also instructed me to use One Condition every time I shower, and use it as a treatment once a week. Put in hair and cover with shower cap and leave in for 20 or so minutes. I swear by this stuff. It's a Godsend!! Try it and see for yourself!

I just started using this conditioner. I am a little underwhelmed given all the hooplah over this product, and the Deva line.

It does lightly condition the hair without weighing it down. It has an okay fragrance -- not great, but it is light enough not to bother me. Does it control frizz? That's hard to say, because anyone with a serious frizz problem is going to apply an anti-frizz lotion/pomade to their hair before styling.

I like the way my hair felt after I rinsed out the conditioner, and I was able to comb my hair with ease. I'll continue to use this as I bought the big 33 ounce bottle, but when I am done with it, I'm not sure I would buy it again. It's just too pricey and I get the same results from lower priced products.

Now having used this product for months, I have to say, it truly is wonderful. Not a total miracle product, but truly a standout.

Reardess of labeling, I usually glob on any conditioner. My hair is color treated and needs lots of moisture. But with this product, I don't have to pile it on to get a nice deep condition.

My hair still frizzes in humid New York weather, but I don't believe there is anything that can totally eradicate frizz when up against the New York elements :)

"... I just wanted to tell you how I use it and that may help you. It is the best product I have ever used and I have been using it for over 8 years. I bought it after reading "Curly Girl" years ago.I have shoulder length hair.
Use 3 pumps as you would shampoo, rinse, use 3 pumps as you would conditioner..run your fingers through to comb (I don't use a comb or brush outside of this step) and then rinse, before getting out of the shower use 2 pumps that you will LEAVE IN. This is all I use, never a shampoo and never a styling gel or pomade. I use a cotton tshirt to wrap my hair after getting out of the shower (never a towel). I really, really hope it works for you, hope you give it a try."

So, I am changing my review from 3 stars to 4 stars, because the product does work as labeled, as (1) a conditioner and a (2) pomade. I can't use it as a shampoo, because my hair is often coated with hairspray that needs soap for removal.

I have used this product for years and normally buy it from my salon. However, I decided to buy it from Amazon and the conditioner is definitely watered down. Will not buy again from Amazon.

I only use Devachan products on my hair. They are by far the best for curls. Do NOT buy them on Amazon, however, because this is not the real thing. I've been using Deva for years, and this product is either substantially watered down or simply faked. Go to the actual Deva website and buy through them.

I was happy when I found this, my favorite conditioner, for sale on amazon, since I can't find it in store by me anymore. I just received my order, this is NOT the same "one condition" conditioner. The real one condition is creamy and had a nice scent... this product from amazon is SUPER watery and smells weird! Clearly not the same product. I'm so disappointed.

I have not let shampoo touch my curls in over 7 years. This is my holy grail product and I wouldn't dream of using anything else. Everytime I tell someone that I don't use shampoo they have to touch my hair. I always get "but it's so soft and shiny!". I color my own hair and don't even use the conditioner that comes with it. I only use One Condition for my waist length curly hair. I can't imagine anyone not liking this product. Even my former hairdresser loved it and said it was better than what she was using. She even looked into carrying it in her salon. I go to the gym and sweat, swim in pools and rivers, blow dry my hair and color my hair regularly and you wouldn't know it by looking at my hair. This is the ONLY product you need!
