I tried Deva curl in an attempt to tame frizz and also enhance and define the wave in my thick hair. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft, and I love the smell; however, I cannot use this shampoo all the time. No matter what I do, it will leave my hair feeling stringy and greasy if I use it too often. My husband, who has very curly hair, tried it also. He has quit using it after almost 2 months of washing with it because it does nothing for his flaky scalp. We were hoping that it would moisturize enough to help rid him of the flakes.

I instantly could tell a difference in my curls the first time I used this shampoo (also got the conditioner). It's great, and really made me realize how important shampoo is for defined curls. Over time I do feel that it makes my hair slightly more dehydrated than usual...so I may try another curl specific shampoo/conditioner to see if that helps. This is definitely the best thing I've tried so far though.

This item does seem to clean the hair and scalp but it makes both very dry and brittle. It did not help with frizzy ends and actually made it worse. I will not buy again, and am looking for another way to use this........pet shampoo seems like a good ideal.

Ever since I stopped using regular shampoo, DevaCurl's No Poo has been the best scalp cleanser I've found to date. Having very curly hair, shampoo is too harsh so No Poo really helps me with my day to day care of of my hair. I gladly spend the extra money for the least amount of hassle.

This product is amazing. My daughter is mixed (full, curly hair) and loves these products because they leave her hair shiny and healthy with defined curls while not being too heavy for her [fine] hair.

I bought a sample-sized kit of these products and liked them, then ordered full size of the "no poo" shampoo, conditioner, gel, and conditioning spray. After using them a few times, there is a build up and my hair feels sticky. Rather than clean and refresh, the shampoo just coats my hair and it is still frizzy, but now weighed down as well. I wish I had stuck with the small sample sizes.

My daughter has very curly hair so I have been using Deva Curl products on her hair for years. I have very little wave in my hair and I use the No Poo and One Condition also. I recommend these to everyone! My daughter has the softest curls and is constantly complimented on her hair.
