I have been using DevaCurl Angell for years and thought it was great. It appears that the manufacturers have changed the formulation and rebranded the product Angel(now it's watery and, to my mind, ineffective). I hoped that a third-party seller would have leftover stock and placed an order here - but I received the new formulation. Misleading description, ineffective product.

I'm not sure if this product was watered down by the vendor "Future City plus beauty, Inc" which now appears on Amazon as "Beauty Best Supply" (I find this recent name change shady given what I am describing in this comment) but the product in the DevaCurl Angell 32 ounce bottle I received was different from the original product of which I have been a regular user for the past couple of years. What I received seemed very watered down - significantly more liquidy and thin in consistency and not gel-like. I spent about $29 dollars for this product and was disappointed in the quality and I will be wary of buying this product through Amazon again.

I have wavy hair, and this really brings out the waviness in it--without making my hair stiff and crunchy as some other products do. I highly recommend this product.

I love this product!! A lightweight gel used right after washing & conditioning. Scrunch your damp curls with your fingers first then lightly with a cotton t-shirt and go! DevaCurl holds my curls, keeps them frizz-free, and also provides shine. The fact that it comes in a 32 oz bottle is great too because I use it every day and get compliments all the time on how amazing my hair looks.

I have used Angel for years--the product from this seller appeared to be watered down as it was loose and runny not at all like Angel...unless Deva has changed the product recently I do believe this product was cheaper becasue it was watered down.

I absolutely love this product. At first I was concerned about the price, but after using this product it was worth every penny. This is the first gel I have used that doesn't make my hair feel weighed down. I would recomend this for anyone with wavy or curly hair. No more frizzy hair, you can't beat that.

I've allowed my hair to go back to its natural curl for nearly 3 years now so I love what the Deva products do for my hair. They're a little pricey though. Finally bit the bullet and bought the big bottles. I wish all of the Deva big-bottle sizes had pump dispensers like this Angell gel--it's almost worth ordering the big size just to get to use the pump. Now I'm getting spoiled AND saving money. Arrived promptly and as promised.

I have curly hair and always had problems with sticky drying gel. This product is fantastic for curls. Both my daughter and I use it everyday and love the large size available. It is the best and only gel we use now. Our curls are tame and defined without being sticky. Just be sure to dry your hair so the gel sets nicely. Definitely the best product out there for curly girls. Try all of their products and you most likely won't be disappointed.

I've been using this product for about a year now, and have loved it! However, this last time that I ordered it here on Amazon, it was very, very diluted! I'm suspicious that maybe the vendor watered it down? I'm not happy at ALL that I paid full price for an ineffective product that is very liquid and not the usual gel! I hope the manufacturer will investigate and do something about this!

I love, love, love DevaCurl Angell!! This stuff is awesome, and since you don't have to use a ton in your hair it lasts forever! My hair is wavy, but Angell really brings those waves our more than any other product I have used. Definitely worth the money!
