A good read...could perhaps delve deeper into the history of the areas surrounding Romney and the original Native American inhabitants of the area. Very informative, easy to read, and VERY interesting.

Great book. Well written account of the history of a little-known small town in western Virginia (now West Virginia) during the Civil war. Personal detail abounds. It gives a flavor of a "day in the life" of soldiers and little-known units.
