I saw this author at a booksigning at Hastings Bookstore, we talked at length. After talking with her there was noway I was not going to buy the book. After reading the first chapter, I purchased 6 more to give to friends and family. The story was awesome, kept my attention and was so true to life. I read my copy 3 times back to back and always found something more interesting. Just when I thought I'd figured out the ending of each chapter, I learned I was totally wrong. Each chapter presented a ending that made me read on. The first time I read it was for a quick overview. The second time I read it was for content, the third time was to see which category my man fell into. Needess to say, he was a Kenneth. I quit him because I wanted a Leon. That's the style of writing this author possess.
I was of the opinion thatthere were no positive, educated, self-motivated romantic left. But after Leon and Treavor I know better. I was really amazed at how a innocent situation could have such a all out. The parents were interesting and what happened to them at the end was totally unexpected. I'm waiting for the movie and cannot wait for the sequel. Her next books Notorious Illusions, When the Music Stops and I cannot forget
Disastrous Deceptions there is no doubt they will be just as good. Great book and I highly recommnd it. ...

HI THERE O', I AM SITTING HERE DOING MY BEST TO COME UP WITH A REVIEW OF YOUR BOOK IN THE FASHION IT DESERVES BUT HAVE COME TO REALIZATION THAT I AM NOT GOOD AT THIS AT ALL. SO IAM GOING TO SAY IT FROM MY HEART . THE BOOK WAS SO INTERESTING THAT I READIT TWICE . IT HELD MY ATTENTION AND HAD ME GUESSING WITH MUCH ANTISAPATION AS TO THE OUT COME. I LAUGHED ,I ALMOST CRIED( MEN ARE NOT SUPOSE TO TELL LADIES THIS) AND I JUMPED FOR JOY AT THE WEDDING. THE BOOK REMINDED ME OF HOW LIFE CAN TAKE YOU MANY PLACES WITH NO INKLING AS TO THE OUT COME, HOW TRUE LOVE IS EVERLASTING AND RUMOR CAN DESTROY. AWESOME, AWESOME AWESOME - The phenomonal characters really made MADE THE STORY. Especially the three male CHARACTERS, TREAVOR, LEON AND KENNETH. At the end I tried to categorize my man, which one did he fit? Destiny was a together young lady, able to hold her own. So much in love with Treavor she was willing to hold on at any cost. Yet her friend, her dearest friend was gaining ground fast. It broke my heart and I even had teary eyes at the end of the Chapter that concerned her friend. As I read everything I expected to happen, didn't. Everything I least expected to happen did. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I'd gotten so involved in the book and I wanted to finish it, didn't want to wonder another day what happened. So I took a vacation day and started from the beginning and finished the entire book without interruption. I wrote the author and told her how impressed I am with the book and I also recommended a sequel perhaps Devastating Rumors, II Leon...!
