I love this stuff! Thank you to earlier reviewers who gave me the exact info I needed to make a good buying decision. The syringe design makes measuring the 1:1 ratio simple, and the instructions on the back of the package are easy to follow. I used a paper plate on which to mix amounts and used a long bamboo skewer to mix and dab the epoxy on my projects. I had great success adhering paper to glass and neodymium (rare earth) magnets to glass, and the magnets to small painted wooden blocks. Although the instructions on the epoxy suggested scuffing the pieces, I needed the surfaces smooth and clear so I didn't sand them. It still worked perfectly.

It indeed dries clear, and there is absolutely no odor. The small amount of epoxy I managed to get on my klutzy fingers came off easily with acetone nail polish remover, but I didn't wait long to remove it. I don't know how easily it would have come off if I'd waited much beyond the 30-minute set time.

I've tried hot glue, Gorilla super glue, Super Glue, Loc-Tite super glue, and other epoxies which shall remain nameless (because of my lack of memory, not for libel-avoidance purposes). While I've had great success with those items on other projects, from now on when working with super-strong magnets and mixed media--which are notoriously difficult to adhere--I will use this Devcon S31 2-Ton Crystal Clear Epoxy!

I have been making jewelry for several years now, and this is the best glue / epoxy that I have found. I have tried them aaalll as well! Most of them have highly toxic fumes, but Devcon does not smell at all! Plus, it dries quickly, and completely crystal clear.

Mix the two parts equally, and mix them very well. You can use a toothpick or even a paper clip to mix them. Be thorough with mixing, and you will be so happy! If you are using it for jewelry, then lightly sand and alcohol the items before applying this (or any other glue / epoxy) and you will be as happy as I am!! It works on many surfaces too! Plastic, metal, wood, clay etc. It is honestly, sincerely, the best! (The 5-minute version is more like 1 minute; it dries and hardens a little too quickly for me, but it is great for many projects as well!) Good luck with your projects, everyone!! :-)

We used it on a broken heavy glass candle stick. Luckily it had broken at a joint and, after using the glue, it is as good as new. It dried clear like glass and you can't see it.

I have used this glue for about 20 years. It's strong and works well for most items. It has a slower cure time than the quick glues but the bond is about four times stronger. I have used it to glue golf club shafts with no problem ever. Lately I have been unable to find it in local stores so I bought some on Amazon. Recommended for many household repairs however not good for plastic.

I've used Devcon 2 Ton epoxy for over 10 years to make microscope slides of rock specimens. This entails cutting the rock off a glass slide, and then grinding it on a diamond grinding wheel. The final thickness of the rock is just over a thousandth of an inch. This epoxy has proven to be quite tenacious and durable. The twin tube dispenser helps to keep the proportions of hardener and resin equal. Thorough mixing is important with any epoxy. The few times I've seen problems with residual stickiness have been almost always due to insufficient mixing. In doing web searches for the best price, I have found this epoxy is also a favorite of knife makers and fishermen who make their own lures.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS STUFF ABOUT A YEAR AGO. IT WORKS TERRIFIC AND I NEVER USE THE MIXING TUBE IF ONE IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR PURCHASE BECAUSE IT LEAVES TOO MUCH GOOD EPOXY IN THE TUBE SO I MIX IT ON A PIECE OF SMALL CARDBOARD MYSELF.

I bought this to attach new handles to a knife. The 30 minute working time was just what I needed.

I bought this epoxy in order to complete the installation of a transducer for a depth finder on my boat. This is a one-use proposition and it went smoothly as expected.
