Being a creative adaptor, I'm a little sheepish now that I have another label. I had my wife read the first three pages of one chapter and she gave it back and saying, "I have no idea what I just read." The author continues her quest to understand the minds/spirits of 90's culture. I found the book fascinating but limited to an audience that is captured by the notion of watching their life strategy unfolded by a complete stranger. I keep it by the bed and refer to it every now and then. Helps me reinforce the fact that my motives are not those of a workaholic zombie. They are guided by an ingrained curiosity and a stubborn refusal to accept defeat. Cool book.

We live in an ever changing flat rorld. So, adaptation and collaboration are essential. Marsha Sinetar's concept of the "creative adaptive" mind is a wonderful expression of what we need to grow into in order to optimize our own lives and to help others optimize their lives. I put this book in the essential reading category.
