Current, grounded & positive overview of Gestalt,
By A Customer
This review is from: Developing Gestalt Counselling (Developing Counselling series) (Paperback)
In the evolving theory of gestalt therapy, Jennifer MacKewn takes a readable, leading and positive stance on gestalt therapy. Content-wise it would have probably been called "gestalt therapy integrated", would the Polsters not have claimed that title. I found this book comparably eloquent. Whilst a book may not be the most powerful way of grasping gestalt concepts, MacKewn provides case studies, illustrations and comprehensive referencing to enhance access & ground her claims.

Nicely done,

This review is from: Developing Gestalt Counselling (Developing Counselling series) (Paperback)
I had a pleasant surprise with this book. Not just a theory discussion, this book is a nice overview of the "how to" of a practitioner who uses gestalt. I highly recommend it to those embarking on integrating gestalt in their work.
