I like how the author has broken down the different chapters. As with most textbooks there are a few areas that sort of drag on, especially the intro chapters, but mostly due to them giving you a background and history of Child Development. As you start breaking into the other chapters the information gets much more interested and it starts to read faster. I had to get this book for a class I was taking, but I found the information also useful in my personal life. All in all, not bad for a textbook!

It feels like highschool all over again with this book. Good read for psych and counselor majors.

I used this book for a class I took on Early Childhood Education.I found t5his book to be very educational on the developement of children and thier brains.

this book was so boring idk i didnt do well in the class cuz i really didnt care, i think i sold the book shortly after it arrived

I ordered this book from this seller on the 1st of September, and the delivery was to be expected to be around 4-14 days. But amazingly, I have received this book in just two days! The book is in great condition too! I would recommend this seller to anyone who's looking to purchase this book!

The book arrived on time and in a speedy manner. The only complaint I have is that the description was written that the book was hardcover, but when I received the item, it was paperback. I didn't want a paperback, I wanted hardback which is why I chose this item but I can deal with the paperback. For those of you ordering from this vendor in the future, it would behoove you to email the vendor first to ask whether it is hardback or paperback, if that matters to you.

Product was delivered on time and in the condition as described in the outline on Amazon.com. I am very satisfied with this provider.

No complaints what so ever. The book was in great shape and was totally worth the price I paid for it.

book was in good shape it took a little longer than i thought to get here. Next time I will use 2-day mail. I havent reead the book yet because i dropped the class
