I purchased this book to help me with a new editing job. I took the plastic wrap off of it and started reading. Nowhere on the cover does it say you need the instructor's manual for the answers. It says it in the beginning of the book.

I contacted the publiher to see if where i could purchase the instructors manual and they insisted it was only available to schools. The book is totally useless to me since i need a way to check my answers and brush up on my skills.

I returned the book and will try not to purchase from this publisher in the future. I have since purchased a workbook with an answer key.

This was a used book but it did not come with the CD as stated had to retuned the book

This is a great book to have, not just for class, but for anyone needing to upgrade their grammar and reading skills. It is an excellent workbook!!!

I purchased the book second hand, including the CD-Rom, and was warned by the seller that the book had some highlighted areas and pencil marks.

1) Well, those highlighted and pencil areas are few. No complaints. GOOD BUY.
2) The speed and promptness of delivery was EXCELLENT.
3) Shipping was REASONABLE.
4) I WOULD ORDER AGAIN FROM THE SELLER AND FROM AMAZON.

I had two books assigned to this online proofreading course and thought that I needed the Developing Proofreading Skills book ASAP. The DPS book came before the class started.
The second book associated with this class was used first! I quickly ordered that second book through our college bookstore. As it turned out, the book arrived late, so I had to accept half credits for my first assignment because it was turned in late!!

New book. I am currently using this book. Also, noticing the changes that have been made in the past years.
