Stephenie was born in Big Spring, TX into a military family and grew up traveling all over the United States. She attended Southwest Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in the spring of 1992. She accepted a teaching and coaching position at Bellville High School that fall where she taught high school math and computer science. Three years later, while coaching at a track meet, she met her husband and the two were engaged six weeks later. She taught and coached for three more years before she stayed home to raise her children. During the time at home, she wrote the first five books in the Developing a Successful Program Series.
Stephenie is currently the Mathematics Department Chair and Pre-Calculus/Algebra II teacher at Faith West Academy and her husband is the Athletic Coordinator/Head Football Coach at Alief Taylor High School. They make their home in Katy, TX with their two children Scott and Rebekah.
