The book was very helpful in helping me to finally learn Algebra. My complaint though is that the wording is too much and very confusing to understand for anyone who has a hard time with math. Get rid of the large pictures/graphs, study tips and objectives and maybe this book wouldn't be so big and heavy. The examples were what saved me because they were well defined and I wouldn't have understood what to do based on the explanations. Overall a good book.

I used this book for several math courses at DeVry Online. I am dyscalculic and this book helped me immensely

The book itself was great but it does not come with the supplements like the description says! I bought it brand new from Amazon (not an authorized seller) twice due to Mymathlab not being included and both did not come with Mymathlab! When I called customer service they even stated that the supplements were included. So, needless to say I am sending back the second book and back to square one. Beware! The description is not correct you are better off going to the manufacturer's website and getting the whole package without the headache!

I received this book in a timely manner. The seller was very helpful when I had questions. Overall the product got to me on time and I appreciated it a lot. Great Job!

This book arrived in a very timely manner, and was in great condition. The only problem that I have (had) is this...it was stated that the book came with the MathLab student access card. It did come with the card, however, it had already been used, so it was of no value to me. I could have gotten just the book for less money.

For being a used book it's in great condition, better than the ones I saw at the school bookstore and cheaper. It was delivered quicker than I thought it would take.

I was only a little miffed when I got to class and noticed that this book did not come with the lab (MATHXL) registration information. I had used the specific ISBN number that should have had the Book, CD lectures and the MATHXL registration I ended up spending more money for that.

Covers basic math through advance algebra. Very easy to undersand and you get a lot of examples to practice.

The book was new and in good shape but it does not come with CD's or any other supplemental. Shipping took as long as they could. Don't expect it to come early.
