5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS STUFF!!, February 26, 2007
This review is from: Deviations Project (Audio CD)
This is the perfect blend of classical music and more current pop music. Imagine some of the greatest classical melodies with a techno backbeat. A symphony of violins fill your ears as you groove along to the techno sounds creating the backdrop. This album just came out and it already is one of the most played albums I have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classical and Hip!, February 28, 2007
This review is from: Deviations Project (Audio CD)
Deviations Project seemed interesting due to the fact that the sound was classical yet hip and up to date. I like Mozart, Bach the commonly known works, but Deviations Project was a more experiment gone right kind of Project. I loved it! It is a record I can leave in my car's CD player or in my stereo at home.

This album is great! It is classical music with a new feel. I love how they combine many elements of sound to create a new experience for the listener. If you listen, you can hear pop, classical, techno all in one song! I highly recommend this album for when you are in a classical but not too classical mood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just fantastic, April 8, 2007
This review is from: Deviations Project (Audio CD)
This CD rocks. There's no other way to say it. It's classical music--with a twist. The violinists are excellent musicians. The deviations are funny to those who are classical music fanatics, and amazing to the casual listener. From Bizet's "Carmen" to "Swan Lake" and Axel's "Crazy Frog," this album takes some random (but impressive) pieces and makes them (even more) fun and exciting to listen to. Random becomes a lot less random. It all makes perfect sense.

It's very new album and I already can't wait for the next one that I demand these two artists do. Electronica and classical meet in this album. It's witty and clever, and very fun to listen to. Have I said enough to convince you that this is just fantastic?

Recommended to both casual and ardent classical music listeners

5.0 out of 5 stars Deviations Project, September 26, 2007
This review is from: Deviations Project (Audio CD)
Our son is a classical violinist and we have a passion for classical music. The Deviations project showed us a whole new way to appreciate the violin. The meshing of Classical with a new sound background blew us away.

This is a great listening album for relaxation or mood music. If you are a fan of Bond or Twelve Girls Band, you'll like this CD. First heard it used at a dance symposium at the local university.

5.0 out of 5 stars deviationsproject fantastic!, September 26, 2007
This review is from: Deviations Project (Audio CD)
Deviations Project This is one of the best CDs I've purchased in the last year. It is really an incredible mix of the classics and "New Age". Everyone that I've played it for has wanted to get a copy for themselves. It is exciting and thoroughly enjoyable and music you will not get tired of hearing over and over again.

Very good start record cd. Need more modern, contemporary and tapestry instrumental musics mixed to be more alive and flamboyant. Like mixing with flamenco style or violons and cello crying in harmony with piano to form a classic mixed with contemporary musics.
