This film features the very beautiful Taiwanese actress Vivian Hsu as Siu Suen. Siu Suen's boyfriend, Chi Kit, loses his money, and apparently lots of his employers money, in the stock market. Siu Suen withdraws her life savings and the two flee to Singapore to escape creditors and the law. We are treated to scenes in which Chi Kit and Siu Suen pledge their eternal love for each other - as well as lots of steamy sex scenes.
Their love is tested, however, when a very rich and very sexy business woman becomes infatuated with Chi Kit. Terminally ill, she wants to experience true love with Chi Kit before she dies. She offers Chi Kit a high salary if he will "work" for her. At first Chi Kit refuses out of his devotion to Siu Suen, but when their money is stolen, he changes his mind. An intriguing love triangle ensues.
The movie is fast-paced and highly entertaining. The ending is ultimately touching and satisfying. This is definitely not a boring movie!
