I have watched each show, even if it is a re-run.

It's a bunch of rednecks stomping through the woods with their guns pretending be experts about their prey.

I really like this show, and it's definitely better than 'Finding Bigfoot', even if it is faked.

I really like this show, and it's definitely better than 'Finding Bigfoot', even if it is faked. I have all of Season 1 recorded on my DVR, and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD, and I really can't wait for Season 2. For Those of You Who Haven't Seen the Show: It's about a real team of investigators (Trapper, Buck, Huckleberry, Jeff, Willie, and Wild Bill), and their organization (A.I.M.S. [Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings]), and how they search for, and try (and sometimes do) trap mysterious creatures in Appalachia. The creatures they search for actually have been seen, or reportedly seen, and have a historical background, so it all seems legit, and they produce valid proof for these creatures. In 'The Devil Dog of Logan County', they capture three Devil Dogs; in 'The Mothman of Mason County' they catch the Mothman on camera, twice (and for those of you who are skeptical, one thing: it's hard to animate black and white footage, and have it look real); in 'The Wolfman of Wolfe County', they catch it on thermal, get a picture, get tracks, and hear howls. These guys looking for these creatures are real Backwoods Americans, and they ain't stupid: they carry shotguns, .30-06s, and .22s with 'em out in the woods, and they don't take any chances on their night investigations. The witnesses aren't idiots either, cause they actually take pictures and videos when they see these things. Faked or not, it's quite an interesting show. The most convincing episodes are 'The Mothman of Mason County', 'The Wolfman of Wolfe County', 'The Devil Dog of Logan County', and 'The Grassman of Perry County'.Read more ›

This show is very entertaining. The lizard demon episode is hilarious. I don't know if they intend to be funny or not...but they are!!! We have laughed over the "son of a bitch" demon all week. Keep the episodes coming!

You have to take it with a HUGE pinch of salt. The "evidence" they show-footprints, videos, etc -can all easily be faked and probably is. I feel like I'm watching The Blair Witch Project or one of the popular 'found footage' movies when I watch the show. Still I am looking forward to season 2.

I laughed so hard during these episodes just at what they say and the way they say it. I am from South Eastern KY and they are from West Virginia somewhere but shew Lordy they are something. The episodes them selves are quite intriguing they catch evidence of some wild things. I am sure you will enjoy

First of all slow down gun powder don't get so analytical, you have to understand television production. You may think your seeing these trackers hitting their mark on finding these crypted creatures right from the start. What you don't know is they are sometimes in the appalaction mountains tracking for a month and most of their tracking is sitting on the floor of an editing room. So what if their overwieght now you sound like someone that has nothing nice to say about anything so you mean if their overweight they cant track or trap. Reality television is edited sometimes scenes are shot 15 times before they get it right for t.v. Remember there is a camera following them all day and all night. The producer might look at a scene and throw some what i call "salt n pepper"on the scene. Does'nt mean its not true. You might think their guns are loaded all the time but i bet you vegas there not. You dont have to watch the show no one is handcufifng you to the t.v. I truly believe there are crypted creatures out there there is no doubt in my mind. This show was picked up for a second season so there doing something right. Just remember reality television is a multi-billion dollar industry they are not going to endanger anyone or anything knowing how bad they can get sued. They have dream team lawyers standing by at all times. So wake up enjoy the show, you talk about this show so bad but from what you wrote you had to of watched it a few times. I know if i dont like something i watch it once and thats it. Bottom line after about a month of tracking and trapping they edit it to 2 or 3 days of hunting. It takes maybe 6 or 7 months to do one season mainly editing and fitting it to a format for a 60 minute show, Ciao Bella Guys

Like the show and just about all of the main characters, except of course Wild Bill, I think any person that's American, and butchers the English language so bad you have to add sub titles for his dialogue should be dropped. Add a replacement please. ASAP.
As for the show its interesting even though most of the creatures are made up , one looked like the creature from the movie Alien. The flying one Snaggester or whatever they called it. Saying it as a 40 foot wing span, and weighs 800 lbs, not realistic, to large even the Pterodactyl was only 8ft Max and 50lbs any heavier he'd never get off the ground. If it's as big as they say on the show it could never fly in a wooded or forest area, it would crash. I'm not even going to get into air lift for a 800lbs bird, your talking the size of a Cessna. I love the show anyway good way to kill time and relax
