I probably should be reviewing his first album, but whatever..

I'm not sure what to think about this. Either Rob Zombie has established his own genre of music, and this is just some more of that good ol' zombie demon metal, or Mike Riggs was tired of taking a backseat to Rob Zombie and wanted to cash in on that signature sound (and look).
Aside from the dubstep parts, Mr. Riggs is virtually copying and mimicking every element that a Rob Zombie song is known for. The sound is such a complete ripoff, I'm just not sure how to classify this "artist". At least it sounds good and surpasses Rob Zombie's recent works, I guess I can live with it.
But, how would everyone feel if there was another band out there that was indistinguishable from Static-X, Nine Inch Nails, or Marilyn Manson?

The thought that he had gone as far as the other 2 albums style could go...was a bad decision .
The opening track Born Again Masochist is a very strong track , actually pretty good , ranks up with his best songs from the previous albums .

Then the album with its over usage of electronic noise just melds into one mildly annoying background sound...

until , the track Sounds of the Dead...this in my opinion is hands down one of his best songs , very good , bordering on great...it's just missing....something to pass that mark , can't put my finger on it .

Those 2 tracks are well worth purchasing , the rest meh

I was anticipating this album since I am a big fan. There are some good songs, but this album was not the greatest. The last album is the best so far.

Decent album but too much remix-techno stuff for my taste. SOTE has always had that flavor but this was a bit over the top. I wouldn't have become a fan if they'd started out this way. Still - has its heavy parts, so 3 stars.

Absolutely love this CD. It is so fresh, creative, and metal at the same time. Everyone should own it! Great gift, everyone I know now owns a copy!

Personally, I think this is Scum's first venture into Dub-step. I preferred them as a metal band but this disk is good. Short, but good.
