If you like cozy mysteries, "The Devil In Maryvale" should be on your 'must read' list.
Sheriff Cas Larkin and his little town of Maryvale are stunned by the brutal murder of a pretty high school sophmore. In looking for a starting place for his investigation, Cas discovers a secret club that has all the earmarks of devil worship. He of course questions anyone who had any contact with Denise Davis (the young murder victum) or the secret club. Denise had been known to attend some of the meetings. Besides the murder and secret club investigation, Cas also has to find who has been stealing cattle from all over the county. All of these cases keeps you turning pages as Sheriff Cas Larkin goes all the way from questioning trailer park residents to interrogating the county judge, in so doing he discovers some of Maryvale's dark secrets. |
