5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful
This book was a delight. It had everything I love -- mystery, romance and humor. And no contrived misunderstandings to fill the pages.

Lord Rossland is much misunderstood by the ton (the author has great fun with the gossip of this era throughout the story). Lord Rossland, it is rumored, murdered his father, brother and nephew to inherit. Lord R is, of...

2.0 out of 5 stars I almost always like Lansdowne
I usually like Lansdowne novels, but for some reason this one just didn't cut it for me. I'm not sure why. Though I usually enjoy the outrageous silliness in Lansdowne novels, this time the heroine was just too silly for me. . . then again maybe I was just in a bad mood the day a read it. At any rate, I think some of Lansdowne's other novels like "Camilla's...

5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful, July 19, 2010
This review is from: A Devilish Dilemma (Zebra Regency Romance) (Paperback)
This book was a delight. It had everything I love -- mystery, romance and humor. And no contrived misunderstandings to fill the pages.

Lord Rossland is much misunderstood by the ton (the author has great fun with the gossip of this era throughout the story). Lord Rossland, it is rumored, murdered his father, brother and nephew to inherit. Lord R is, of course, innocent and is, in fact, searching to determine if his nephew just might still be alive.

Minerva Potts has just broken off an engagement and is not necessarily looking for love....but Lord R offers friendship and before Minerva knows it, she is quite involved in helping Lord R in his escapades and intrigue.

The antics by some of the secondary characters are quite entertaining also. I can easily recommend this for light reading.

This review is from: A Devilish Dilemma (Zebra Regency Romance) (Paperback)
A good book a wonderful author. All the humor and romance a person could ask for. A great story line with characters that come alive with personality. Judith has not written a bad book and I highly recommend all her writings. What a wonderful and humorous imagination this woman has. If you have never read her books it is your loss.
