This review is from: Devil's Darling (Paperback)
Since I saw that noone has reviewd this book yet, I really felt like saying some words about it. Because this is a book I enjoyed very much and recommend! I read this book for the first time a long time ago, and reread again and again.
The Hero, Christopher, is making his living as a pirate after beeing falsy covicted of murder, trapped by the heroines father! He of course wants to clean his name and he wants revenge. The heroine, India, is on her way home to England when the ship hits a reef. Guess who saved them? When Christopher finds out that India is the daughter of the man who ruined him, he promptly forces her to marry him, because he wants Indias child, who will become Indias fathers heir. Christopher starts working with this immediatley after their wedding. Unfortunately, India is not a willing partner to start with (yes, there is a rape scene). However, the couples sails away to exotic places and I enjoyed the scenes and happenings between India and Christopher.
