This review is from: Devils & Demons: A Treasury of Fiendish Tales Old & New (Hardcover)
It's an unbelievable collection - Isaac Asimov, H.G. Wells, Bram Stoker, even a modern day horror story of technology by columnist Russell Baker! Let's not forget R.L. Stephenson, Lovecraft, Poe, Maugham.... 51 stories, some quite long, some as short as one page. A good size well made book as well. A good addition to any horror addict's library.

If you can get this, do. It has a nice mix of stories. Terrific assortment of authors and it's a not just horror. Sort of horror with a twist. Good intros to the stories and a detailed appendix.

An excellent collection of short stories concerning encounters with the devil or demonic agencies, some are scary others are not, all are brilliant. Should be much better known then it is.
