5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Story Of An Obscure Battle, March 7, 2006

This review is from: The Devil's Hole Massacre (Paperback)
I truly enjoyed this one and it is the author's first book.It is an inspiration for anyone who enjoys history and wants to write about it.The overview is of Pontiac's War and the battle that took place around the Devil's Hole near Niagara Falls. The author discovered that nobody had ever written a correct account of this battle and stepped up to the plate to do so.One also doesn't need an impressive credentials to write about history(frequently those guys get it wrong)but rather just the interest and desire to get it correct.I recommend this one to all who are interested in the French & Indian War and it's aftermath.
