I recently got this in a three pack of Joanna Makepeace's stories. The other two were rather ordinary, but this one was great. This is what historical romance stories should be about! It wasn't the usualy typical romance formula, but it actually had a story line with plot twists. I didn't even see the end twist comming even though I now realise it had be forshadowed from the very begining. This isn't just a romance, it is a story. Which is why I give it five stars!
