Good lower budget film that has a decent pilot and acting, kind of a surprise considering it was not a big named film and had a cast of unheard of people in it. But does contain a lot of language, some sexual dialogue, and some nudity so nothing different than most films have but not for someone under 16 to watch.

Movie was a waste of time, low budget flic with nudity, poor acting, horrible dialog, foul language and reference to homosexuality. The movie is called the Devil's Racecourse but I have no idea why, there was no race just four girls and 1 guy hiking in the woods that run into a serial killer with two other guys.

Horrid. Lost me in the first five minutes when four bimbos and one guy get out of a car and start cursing at each other. Sounds like a real fun trip (and movie) to me.

Hikers in the woods get caught up in deadly chase, in The Devils Racecourse (2009), a badly acted suspense thriller, which features a fairly familiar scenario. You probably won't see anything new, and the action scenes aren't that impressive, but the movie may provide a few moments of excitement, as desperate men attempt to recover some vital data.

While hiking with a group of friends, in an area called the Devils Racecourse, Wendy (Ashley Nicole Anderson) falls behind, and encounters a fugitive FBI agent. The pair suddenly find themselves under attack, and after being shot, the dying agent gives Wendy a flash drive, and warns her that the men who are after him, will kill her to recover the information. Wendy takes off into the woods running for her life. Up ahead at a campsite are her friends, and sister Susan (Katie Foster). Unfortunately, the agents are already very close at hand.

The writer apparently expects the audience to be shocked, that people in the government are going rogue and committing murder. It's only been done a few million times in movies, and in this particular instance, the presentation is clumsy, clichéd, and almost laughable, with airheaded characters sprouting ridiculous and pretentious dialog, in an attempt to sound cool. With so much against them, very few in the cast escape looking like idiots.

The pacing of the film is off, and the pieces don't fit together very well. Character development mostly involves bickering, or discussions about lesbian relationships. There is nudity, as adventurous lovers get naked in the dirt. Some tension and mild excitement is generated during the chase sequences, and there are a couple of decent kills, but this is a film that probably soon forgotten. Rating: 2.5 stars.
