Nathanial Dorsky professionally is the "edit doctor" who has rescued many a film from its creator. Here he distills decades of the practice of his art to a short, crystalline essay. Essential reading for students and lovers of film.

There are rare occasions
reading about art when one is just plain dazzled and enlightened from. This little book exemplifies that. & I dare say the exquisite insights enclosed are applicable to ALL the arts, not only cinema. This is a sublime little book. Take a chance & procure !
