This is an excellent devotional for young children. The pictures are very appealing to them. Each entry has a story with ties into the Young Readers Bible. There are fun activities. At thanksgiving we did one where we went outside and collected things that God made in our world, acorns, leaves, sticks, pinecones. The kids had fun gluing and learning about all the things that God made. There are prayers and memory verses also included. We use it for our family devotional time. It had simple easy to read words so that your child can read with you. You definatly need the bible that accompanies it to make it all flow together.
