Not in original Dewalt package / They work!
Batteries and charger are sent loose. Owner's manual is a photocopy. Must be they buy them in bulk and bag them for resale. No evidence they are reconditioned. I'm happy with both. Just don't expect original Dewalt bubble packs. The batteries put new life into my drill. The XRP batteries are much more powerful than the XR style, and seem a little...

Return of wrong sent items
I ordered a 2-pack of DeWalt batteries amd received a 2-pack of makita batteries. They were most polite, apologized and returned my money without any problems and paid for me to return the wrong batteries.

The batteries put new life into my drill. The XRP batteries are much more powerful than the XR style, and seem a little heavier. For those that have had trouble with buying batteries from this seller I'd recommend that they junk their charger. Seems like Dewalt has yet to make a charger line that doesn't have a recall.

My son-in-law's cordless drill had gone unused for quite some time due to his battery no longer functioning properly and he was unable to replace it due to the price so I decided to get it for him for Christmas. He loved it!

The battery fits 14.4 v tools as advertised. But be aware that the new battery does not fit inside the original case for the tool because it is slightly bigger than the old battery. The case will not close right.
Otherwise it is all good.

These batteries are strong and they last a long time. If Dewalt would have supplied these batteries with their tools, I would have never changed companies. These batteries did come loose in a box, thanks for the warning, but they were in good shape. I used my drill to frame a shed and I did not have to change batteries on this three day project. Good product and good service.

The charger worked as advertised but the Dewalt batteries may be a good product but they won't fit in my B&D drills, lights or saw. The problem is that the housing is not the corect demensions to sit in the drill etc and latch into place. You have to hold it there for it to work and that is not convenient as a working device. The one star is for that reason only otherwise the products are fine
