i first learned of these from the tv show, "jon and kate plus 8." unlike other hard and firm bibs with a catch, this one is flexible and catches surprisingly well, including vomit, rejected food items, spilled milk, etc... the vinyl surface can be wiped while the back feels more cloth-y. i use one while the other one is being washed or is in the diaper bag. oh, i also wash these in the washer, then hang-dry.

the bad is it's made of pvc vinyl, hence the deduction of 1 star. i haven't tested it for lead, but pvc vinyl can have some scary ingredients, so i wish they could use a better fabric/material for the waterproof surface. and because it was pvc vinyl, the bibs smelled chemically initially, so i washed them. i almost went with a different brand, but i chose convenience this time. the other bad (minor) thing is that you can't choose the designs, oh well.

seriously, we've only used two of these bibs. and that's even considering a backup. you won't need any others. simply the best designed bibs ever.

these bibs are definitely 5-star-worthy now. i recently purchased two larger ones because the corner/section where all they meet began to crack. (i'm not upset about it cracking since we used it a LOT for almost 2 years and i machine-washed them at least once a week.) i noticed that the new ones feel different from the previous ones because they changed the material for the waterproof surface!! so no pvc vinyl - it's now phthalate-free and 100% polyurethane! the new ones also didn't have the nasty smell the old versions arrived as. you can also choose the pattern, depending on where you shop.

i bought 8 of them: a couple for me, the rest for friends/family. simply the best bibs ever. they're also very portable.

We have tried a lot of different bibs from cloth to vinyl to rubber (like the Baby Bjorn bib - our daughter wouldn't even let us put that one on). This is by far the best bib we have ever used. We buy them for all our friends as maternity gifts. It combines the comfort of a cloth bib with the practicality of a rubber bib with catch pocket. You can easily wipe food off the vinyl front or just un-snap it and throw it in the wash. Even after two years of folding and unfolding the plastic still hasn't cracked. The only reason we had to buy more for ourselves is because our puppy thought it was a great chew-toy. Any other bib is just a second-rate substitute.

I just got a SM size bib for my son (5 mo) and it is the only bib I use when he is eating. These bibs wipe off easily, and even tolerate the washing machine well. I can unsnap and fold the bib flat for in the diaperbag, and the color coded snaps are easy to use. I have 4 of the larger size bibs for my daughter. She used them from (12m to 36m), and still uses them when she is eating in her carseat; they are great for holding fries sandwiches and snacks.

These bibs are the best! I found them in a store by chance and like them so much I buy them for friends. They wash easily and wipe easily since you unsnap them and they are flat. They roll easily for travel, but the pocket sticks out to actually catch everything, even soup! We take these when we goto restaurants, travel, and there is even one for daycare.

I have tried many bibs and this is the best option I found. It catches all, liquid or solid ..., well. I like this smaller one than the big one even for toddlers. The pocket for this small one stays open better than the big ones. When we are outside, we can also put small snacks like cereals in the pocket for the infant. The only down sides I would mention is the outside harder to clean and the corner of the pocket will break but only after many use which I would say already got my money worth on the product.

A friend of mine told me about this bib. I loved it so much that I bought another one for myself, and several for my friends with kids of similar age to my daughter. This is the only bib you need - wash it and wipe it.

I am glad to have this bib for my baby. He is a spit up master and the pocket seems to do its job. Its easy to clean, dries quick and ready to go.

PROS
1) Unsnaps for easy cleaning.
2) Wipes easily and is machine washable.
3) Pocket catches crumbs.
4) Not too expensive.

CONS
1) Canvas type cloth backing doesn't clean as easily.
2) Not enough coverage (sleeves would be helpful).
3) Neck hole is still a bit big for my 8-month old daughter (I use a clip).

I had my daughter wear an older shirt over her clothes and under this bib until she learned how to eat a little less messy (ie stopped grabbing the spoon).

I have this brand of bib in the bigger size for my son. It is great at catching everything. He will even reach down in the bib and eat what has fallen. I was thrilled when I saw this bib came in a smaller size for the first feedings. Wish I had this size with the first child. Like another commenter said, I also have used it for a "table" in the car seat while we traveled. Easy clean up and can be put in the washing machine. Can't wait to get this in the mail so I can start feeding the baby rice cereal and not ruin cloth bibs. Great product!

I used these bibs on my older child and loved them. I am happy to use them on my twin boys.
