5.0 out of 5 stars Dexter has done it again!
These shoes were delivered ahead of scedule and in perfect condition. They also include a pair of black laces for them should you tire of white. The fit was great and very comfortable and they include a pre-addressed label for returns should you need to do that. 1.0 out of 5 stars Not true Wide
If you have a normal D/E foot, this is a nicely constructed bowling shoe for the price, but if you are looking for a true wide, keep looking. It says based on E3, but even ordering a size larger, it didn't fit our needs for E3. It fit tighter than the standard Brunswick shoe.

On the lanes I found it helpful to use just a little powder on your sliding shoe until you get used to them-perhaps in just one session as I did. My last pair of Dexters gave me 25 years of use so why change brands? These are universal shoes for a righty or lefty as I am-I highly recomend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good choice, December 12, 2009

These are great shoes for a beginning bowler. Both shoes have leather bottoms so they can be used by both LH and RH bowlers. They are very comfortable and look great and are well worth the decent price.

Great price; nice speedy delivery; a little tight but I ordered a wider size and it's a good thing I did. Good shoe, slides well on the lanes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Improved my game, March 11, 2010

These shoes are great. It's probably just a mental thing, but I've honestly improved my score since I bought these. Although, anything has to be better than nasty rental shoes. My friend bought the Brunswick shoes at Sports Authority for about the same price. I like the Dexter shoes better.

The shoe is actually pretty sharp looking and comes with the choice of black or white laces. I found that the Wide version is still a tad narrow, so that's why I only gave 4 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoes for the price, March 6, 2010

I had another pair of Dexter shoes that I picked up years ago, but more of a tennis shoe style. Although I liked those, there were just too old and kind of falling apart. This go around I decided to go with a more traditional look. The Turbo II fit the bill perfectly. The shoe is very, very comfortable, and looks great. The slip pad made for a night of rather unpredictable throws, but after the second or third night they were worn in enough to not even be a thought. For the money, I would strongly recommend this shoe. I have a fairly high arch, but still like a wider shoe and this truly fit the bill. You would not be disappointed if you invested in this shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars So glad I bought these shoes!!, June 17, 2010

I am a woman bowler. I needed a wide shoe that is well made and with foot stability. Did not find what I needed in the womens section, so I found what I neded in these shoes. Thrilled with them. The two pair of shoe laces are nice. (nice and thick with dexture so they will stay tied.) However, I replaced my laces with the athletic rubber band laces (helps with secure laces and consistant fit). They look great on these shoes.

The shoes perform well on the lanes. Have bowled in a lot of conditions and lanes - the shoes do well. I bowl in three leagues, and I started noticing how many Turbo IIs are bowling! Great price for these all purpose bowling shoes. (Cannot change heel or slider- thus all purpose. Works for me!)

Also, the toe box is higher than some shoes, so most inserts will fit. The insole is fine- But if you are like me, and require a special insert, they should fit into this shoe. My full inserts (from pediatrist) fit great! The original insole is glued, but can be removed. To remove, just ease around the glue while pulling out the insole. It should come out in one piece if you go slowly. Again, for those who do not need inserts, the shoe insole itself is fine. I just spend enough time in mine, that it must fit like my other athletic shoes.

It also looks like a very durable shoe. When I asked other bowlers about their Turbo IIs, most said that the shoes last a long time. And knowing their scores, the shoes must be working for them! I look forward to a long friendship with mine. This is the shoe I will purchase when my son needs his next shoes. Hope this helped!

Knock 'em down!

The Dexter Turbo II fit really nice . The only problem I had was the slide. It took about 3-4 weeks before I could slide with them . Last week they worked great bowled my best series this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, September 28, 2011
Very comfortable, good width and fit. Sturdy. Looks very dark brown instead of black. Highly recommended for big people - will definitely buy again.
