Upon receiving the shoes and giving them as a gift to my husband, he fell three times consecutively while bowling. He brought them to the pro shop at the lanes and they used a drummel and sandpaper to roughen them. He's bowled 6 games since and is just now able to bowl without being hesitant that he is going to slip and hurt himself. He says the shoes look great and the size is perfect. I would purchase another pair in the future, I would just be very careful breaking them in.

Way better than renting bowling shoes at $4 per game. They are black, so they match just about everything. They are not for walking outside, so don't mistake for typical walking shoes. They have a fabric coating on the toe of the underside of the shoe (both shoes). I know some bowling shoes have this on only one side (my friend has a pair like that) and if you have it on the wrong side, it can be trouble (like wearing regular shoes that squeaking down the lane). You won't have this problem with these shoes and they will work for someone with either a left or right handed delivery.

I usually don't comment one way or the other but in this case I need to alert those who might consider this shoe. This is not a wide shoe. It works well and looks nice and the price is right but only buy it if you have a regular size foot. Don't say I didn't warn you!

only one downside. cheap laces. i would replace them they feel like they going to break . but it hasn't. been using it for about 6months

The size is always a problem I order 11 and was a litte big but OK. able to handle.

These bowling shoes are great to have. It is extremely nice to have your own shoes both in terms of costs (mine paid for themselves in 5 bowling trips) and the "ick" factor. They are also very stylish (relatively in comparisson to bowling alley clown shoes) and most comfortable.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the fact that the sizing seems off somehow. My pair is a bit too tight, but the next size up is much too big. I usually don't have that problem with shoes since I am pretty much an industry standard 12.

Just started league bowling and needed a nice pair of shoes. After reading the reviews I figured you couldn't beat these shoes especially for the price. They have met and exceeded my expectations.

I love my new bowling shoes. I wish I could wear them all the time, but, alas, they ARE bowling shoes. My scores haven't improved but I am much more comfortable in these Dexter shoes. When these wear out, I'll buy them again.

Nice fit. I would have given them 5 stars except they don't seem to slide well on lane. Not sure if I am just on a "sticky" lane or it's the shoes.

This is a good shoe, my bowling average was 125 - 135, the night when i use them i make 137, 143 and 191, i am happy
