I only recently got into "Dexter's Laboratory" (when "Ego Trip" was released on video) because my cable service doesn't offer "Cartoon Network," so I'm glad other episodes are finally available. This is a really great show -- it's smart, funny, and the colors and designs are some of the best of their type since the early days of "Ren & Stimpy." Like the best entertainment for kids, it's aimed at young people (I would've loved this if it'd been around when I was ten years old) but it also works on a level that adults can appreciate.
And, since I hadn't seen any of the early episodes, it was good to finally view the first episode, the "origin" of Mandark, and "Picture Day," which is one of the funniest episodes I've ever seen. This tape also has a sampling of Genndy Tartakovsky's new series, "Samurai Jack" (which appears twice on the tape for reasons I don't completely understand -- but it's cool enough to watch two times).
I wish, however, that Warner Home Video would release Dexter on DVD as well as VHS. He may not be as popular as the Powerpuff Girls but Dexter's all about technology!

Dexter's Lab is one of the best comedic 'toons that Cartoon Network has ever created. Its fun for the whole family (adults will love it too). Its definitely a great buy, but why isn't it on DVD?? This would be a must-have DVD for any animation fan, especially for those of us who grew up with classic Warner Bros. comedy. I say it should be released on DVD so as to preserve it on a medium worthy of such a great show. Well, no matter... buy this, pop it in your VHS, and have fun!

Sure, I watch Dexter's Lab on Boomerang through my satellite provider, but my bill went up by $4 every year, and eventually I'll have to dump it to save money should my dang bill go up again. I would LOVE to see the complete series released on DVD, heck Craig McCracken released the complete series of The Powerpuff Girls on DVD (which I have and enjoy) but man Gennedy, let's see some DVD releases of Dexter's lab already. I hate to miss this show if I have to dump my dish, and my cable company don't have Boomerang.

Dexter's Laboratory has to be one of my favourite Cartoon Networks shows, just like Regular Show, Ed, Edd n' Eddy, Adventure Time, Chowder and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Read more

An Exteremely Rare Tape
This tape is really rare and I found out when I ordered it. When it finally came in the mail, I opened it, and on the back, it said "Made in Canada". So I got a Canadian video, eh? Read more

Wish Dexter was on DVD
I love this VHS. My only wish is that Dexter was on DVD for those of us in the USA! Tape works excellent. Its good to be able to watch a favorite cartoon again...

Dexter's Laboratory- get it while you can still watch it on video
Dexter's Laboratory is a great cartoon and enjoyed by all ages for its humor and graphics. It is too bad it does not come in DVD. My children love this video.
