Dezine Mini-Measuring Glasses, Ounce Size, Set of 3

I've bought two "sets" of these over the last 3mos:
-The first I bought as a single cup. I used it for measuring drinks (liquors, juices & liqueurs). This one lost it's markings within 2 or 3 weeks of buying it. No unusual use or abuse: just the above ingredients and a few trips a week to the dishwasher.

-I chalked the failure up to either a bad instance, or bizarrely strong detergent (though it hasn't touched any of our other glassware or plasticware, including the Perfect Beaker I bought at the same time). Plus it's a handy item, and there's not much else available in the niche. So for the second go-round, I bought one of these three-packs, to try to get more longevity out of three than I had out of one. The first of the three in the package began losing it's markings within three weeks of use. And this time I studiously avoided letting it get near a dishwasher: hand-washing only with nothing more than hot water and Dawn liquid. I've still got two more, but to be honest, I haven't been inclined to pull out and begin to ruin another one from the spares.

Beyond the above, they are pretty handy (while the markings last): Nice mixture of measurements, and it's a lot simpler to use one of these with to measure 1/4oz, rather than monkey with measuring 1.5tsp with two different measuring spoons.

Hmm, maybe I'll see if I can scribe or otherwise permanently make some markings on these so that I can use these for more than standard shot glasses.

I use these for every recipe that calls for small measurements, such as 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Easy cleaning too. Really easy to break though, one drop and they break.

Truthfully, I bought these mini-measures because I thought they were cute, but they have become the most used item in my kitchen. I use them daily. I can't even explain how easy some of my recipes have become.

These measuring cups are actually "cute", but they are actually very very handy and useful. And the set of 3 is actually wise because you can line up several of your ingredients at once. I actually bought a 4th one (in black) so I can have 4 different colors and keep track of and line up numerous ingredients. You can easily use them for wet or dry products. With the multiple scales on them (i.e. teaspoons, tablespoons and milliliters), you can measure anything. I find them very easy to read as the markings are clear and large enough. However, it's a bit difficult to read the scale on the white one so I use it for darker ingredients.

One drawback is that you may find you need to use a regular measuring spoon to scoop spices from small jars that are somewhat caked or hardened, as they won't "pour" out into this measuring cup. This may seem like double work, but necessary if you want to line up your ingredients before mixing etc...

They're quite thick and feel very sturdy, although I haven't tried the "drop" test yet! :-) They also stack for storage, saving space. I find them easier to handle than conventional measuring spoons and they're easier to clean too.

Strong sturdy glasses, all three the same. You can three for the price of 1 in most cases. Comes in a nice little plastic tube for storage. Having multiple measurment types is a great plus. Basically a little bigger than a standard shot glass, but the same style.

Following some Sichuan recipes, I thought that all these instructions for teaspoons and tablespoons of this and that have to be strictly followed are really making a mess of my spoons. I wished I could use the plastic medicine cups I have but they didn't have the right measurements on them. I thought I would have to "invent" these but here they are. Now I can not look at the Kung Pao chicken recipe with dread and desire.
