While this translation isn't in very wide circulation -- probably because it is larger in physical size -- it is excellent. In addition to the main text, there is a ton of additional information on (Tibetan) Buddhism. It reminds me of a delightful Cliff Notes in both English and Tibetan script. I love this book and highly recommend it.
