It's ok but doesn't have much stopping power,

I installed this on a beach cruiser that only had rear pedal brakes. The length of this brake had to be extended with aluminum bars and the front fender needed to be cut down to get it to work. The brake has very little stopping power I think because the shoes are to little and to hard. If you are thinking of putting front brakes on your beach cruiser, my advice is dont do it. Even if you put a bike motor kit on your cruiser, the rear pedal brake is all you need.
