I used this book for a visual arts unit on el Dia de los Muertos with my elementary art students. It was a quick little intro into the history and traditions. Not wordy. Just right to start off the art projects.

This book is mediocre and I would not advise purchasing it. It is just rather basic and not much depth. Thanks

The story of a popular celebration in Mexico and other Latin countries told through photographs and bilingual text. Actual photos of preparations for and the activities arranged for the observance of this special day give a colorful, vivid picture of the significance of the celebration for the families of loved ones who have passed on.

I bought this for my 3rd grade Spanish Dual-Immersion class and I was a little disappointed. I hope my students find it interesting!
