Drs. Fong and Ross have compiled an excellent resource for patients and non-ophthalmologic clinicians. The comprehensive nature of the book and the clarity of presentation make it a must for all those who deal with diabetes! It has been shown in past research that much of the problems associated with diabetes could be avoided with appropriate identification and careful management of the disease. By helping further understanding, Drs. Fong and Ross have truly advanced efforts to reduce morbidity from diabetes.Brian Lee, MD |
