5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, the right sock
I purchased Sugar Free Sox at the recommendation of a friend who also has diabetes. These socks are comfortable and do not leave any marks on my feet and legs even after a long day. Also, I wear them to work with a suit and they look very stylish. Highly recommended

I'm a diabetic with large calves.

These socks are better than normal socks in that they don't bind my legs as tightly. They don't stay up well and they still leave minor marks on my ankles after falling down. It's a big improvement over normal socks, however.

I've yet to find socks that both stay up and don't leave marks on my legs.

Socks thinner than expected. What I would call a dress sock. Was hoping for a bit thicker for winter wear. I have size 9 shoe size. If size twelve they might be thin/snug. Comfortable though. Like I don't have socks on. Seem like they have less cotton and more synthetic. Almost glitter from the synthetic but that may be what makes for the extra stretchability. I am not diabetic I just wanted socks tall enough and with extra stretch at the top so I could tuck my pants into them for riding my bicycle to work. They will work OK for that but not a lot of extra at the top. If you have huge calves they may be tight.

My husband has had poor circulation in his legs for some time. With this cold weather it has gotten worse. I purchased these socks for him and he loves them. They have helped a lot with his lower leg circulation.

I ordered these as a gift for my father. They were totally unusable by him when he tried them. The heel comes up to his ankle, and they are not snug at all and fit very loosely. He cannot wear or use them! He even tried to wash and dry them to see if they would shrink up some, and that did not help. Of course, by the time he told me what was wrong with them, two months later, it was too late to do any kind of return. I bought these with confidence due to the high ratings I saw on here, but don't understand what the problem was these. By the way, my father is not a small person and wears normal size socks all the time with no problem. If you decide to buy these, I recommend making sure they fit properly before your return period expires!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sox!, January 26, 2010
This review is from: Diabetic Socks | 3 Pack Mens Black Socks (Apparel)
These sox are wonderful - they stay up but do not bind. While they are listed as diabetic sox, I purchased them as 'rheumatoid arthritis' sox. They are very comfortable to wear - a nice, medium weight. Not too thin, not too bulky, but just right. They wash and dry beautifully and I am very pleased that I purchased them. I recommend them to anyone who is unable to wear regular sox.

2.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, but..., December 31, 2011

These socks are very comfortable but for the price should last much longer. The material is rather thin and holes appear far too soon. Thumbs down.

My dad is a diabetic who has poor foot and leg circulation. He has tried many brands of diabetic socks, but claims that these are the best. I'm happy that he finally found something that makes him feel good. I will be ordering a lot more in the near future. :)
