I loved this book. I wish they would put all of the other books on the back, or somthing. i didn't know there were other books in the series. I would like to know the other books in the series. About the book I loved it, you would to. Enjoy.

Ricki's dad is constantly nagging her to improve her grades at school, but Ricki's having a hard time concentrating in class. Her Mom's very busy with her job and has hardly the time to sit down andtalk with her daughter. Life for a teenager can be very difficult, but it's not really her parents or grades that is on her mind-it's Diablo.This beautiful horse is being seriously mistreated by his owner and Ricki decides that she will be the one to do something about it. But when Ricki's mom forbids her to go to the stables, Ricki is devastated. Ricki's passion for Diablo is too strong, and she takes the matter into her own hands,which means running the risk of saving Diablo from his cruel owner and disobeying her mother. But not in her wost nightmares could Ricki have imagined what is in store for her.Dialo's owner is not only cruel to animals, but he also has no qualms about attacking people...

It is an amazing book!! Im only at chapter 5 but, (starting chapter 5) so far it has been realistic, dramatic (in a great way!), and someone how you understand. It is about a girl named Ricki and she loves this horse Diablo and he is owned by Frank Cooper who abuses him, and she wants to put a stop to it.... I'm not gonna' tell you the hole story! :) Well it is a really great book it is for anyone who likes a adventure/realistic/fun + amuzing book! So please read it and you'll love it!!!

**My Review**

In order to get a "5" from me a book needs to have excellent characters, a strong and complete storyline without gaps, and an engaging plot. Although I liked the plot and the story it had too many gaps to really count as a fully-developed product.

For instance, why is Kevin in the story reluctant to talk about horses? Whose limo was parked outside the stable? Why does the stable groom care about Ricki before she honestly does anything? How could the stable manager purchase the horse? Why didn't the ASPCA confiscate the horse? If the girl didn't understand school why didn't she make an effort instead of just daydreaming and flunking?

Don't get me wrong - I liked the book and I think that the author has a ton of potential (which will hopefully continue to develop as I read the series) but I do not think that the book went through enough revisions to weed out these issues before being put into publication.

If you love horses like me, then you will love this book.This book is about a girl named Ricki.She loves a horse named Diablo.He is a black gelding with a white star on his forhead.This book is amazing and very happy and will make you mad.I am not going to tell you why it will make you mad you will have to read it to findout.

I thought it was a great book! All girls who love horses should get this book and read it. They should also read the rest of the Diablo series. These are great books to read. Ricki (the main caracter, 13 year old girl) finds out that her favorite horse at the barn Diablo is being mistreated by his owner. Ricki gets in a fight with Diablo's owner in order to save Diablo. It's a very exciting book and I read it in two days! Now I'm reading another book from the Diablo series!
