5.0 out of 5 stars HellFire Rules
This bundle makes a nice gift to people that don't already own Diablo. The HellFire add on is written by Sierra and is authorized by Blizzard. They added a new Charactor class called "Monk" and a new feature, the ability to run in town which speeds up those necessary trips to town. The Monk has awesome hand to hand skills and can whoop up opponents empty...

3.0 out of 5 stars classic that isn't quite as fun anymore
This game was a lot more fun when Windows was first coming out. The expansion was a nice addition though, and it really does add something more to the game. I suggest downloading the un official patch and gaining access to the other 2 classes as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars great additional items, but not multiplayer, June 12, 2000
This review is from: Diablo Hellfire Bundle (CD-ROM)
Diablo Hellfire allows you to become 2 new character classes, the Barbarian and the monk. There are also many more items to find in this add-on, from armor to weapons to magical items. However, Diablo Hellfire is restricted to single-player gaming, and cannot be played on Battle.net for multiplayer action. This is very disappointing, but somewhat of a relief since you don't have to deal with all those cheaters and hackers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hellfire, March 31, 2003

Hellfire is a good single player expansion for diablo. The only bad thing about it is that it doesnt add as much as you would expect. But there are tons of things great about this game. Like the new character class the monk also new quests and over 20 new demons. The expansion adds a couple of spells and potions it also adds 2 new places to explore, the hive and the crypt. Fun game.

this special pack contains both diablo and the hellfire expansion, diablo itself is an incredible game so if you haven't gotten it yet this package is a good deal, the hellfire expansion adds 8 new levels a new villan and 12 new weapons. by itself diablo is awesome and is a must purchase game, but with the addition of hellfire there is no reason why you shouldnt jump on this deal

If you are thinking about buying this game go ahead and do it. This game kicks ... There is lots of adventure. You get to choose to be a rogue, warrior, or a sorcerer. You can also buy items and work your way up to be stronger and learn skills and spells. All of my friends have it to and all of them love it so if you are thinking about buying it go ahead and do it. I hope this review was a good help to you.

4.0 out of 5 stars hellfire: a review, June 12, 2000

I think this is quite a good game. In Hellfire, you are able to pick from 6 different characters, instead of the usual three as in Diablo. I think this is a very good improvement because some people, such as myself, become bored after playign Diablo for a while and only having three characters to choose from. there are also many new quests, creatures, dungeons, weapons, and characters. This presents a wider variety of actions, and i believe that that quality is more important than most.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hellfire Patch Won't Work on 64-bit OS, September 17, 2007
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diablo Hellfire Bundle (CD-ROM)
The 1.01 Hellfire patch, which is difficult to find but IS located on Sierra's FTP server, is a 16-bit executable. It will NOT work on 64 bit operating systems.
