I must say that I am pleasantly surprised in the quality of this book. I use it as a reference often and it is very detailed. I also liked that there was a code to be able to use the online version when I don't have the book with me.

This guide is next to worthless. The only thing it is good for is the maps which you only need for one play through and to finish the game, you have to play through the game 4 times so you will know the maps pretty well by the end of the game.

Some of the other features are enemy stats, which change with every patch, as well as items and their stats, which have changed every patch. Those aspects of the guide are then pointless because it's all outdated after the first patch.

So what's left after that? The bestiary? That's okay I guess, but the stats are changed with the patches so the only part that is not pointless is just the list and names of the monsters but you will learn all that from playing the game so not worth buying the whole guide just for that when everything else is pointless.

I suppose the information about the story and characters is nice to know but anything that is in here that is not told to you by the game can easily be found online just about anywhere. There are tons of fan sites with more information then this guide does and it's constantly updated with new information as Blizzard puts it out and has tons of old information based on the other games.

If I had to do it over again, I would not have spent the money to get this book. It's just not necessary or worth it. Save your money for something else more important.

This book is worth every penny if you love Diablo 3 and the world it's set in. First it's huge 493 pages, yes you read that right. Next it's got a great break down of everything you need to know if your just getting started in Sanctuary. From armor to maps to crafting this has it all and was a big help to me getting into Diablo for the first time. Also if you didn't get the CE artbook this is packed full of much of the same art. The cover is nice hardback black with reflective III on the front, the back has one of the horadic symbols I believe. The bookmark is quality as well, not to cheap it's actually metal! This is worth the full price here on Amazon it's usually a few dollars less if they are in stock.

I was completely stunned at this product. I have owned many strategy guides in the past. I have to say this is the most detailed guide I have ever owned; from the exterior of the guide to the pages of the guide. The bookmark that it came with the guide was also well done. It was a nice surprise that it came with a digital version of the guide. I am very pleased.

Im a huge diablo fan so purchasing this was a must. The binding is very sturdy and has some weight to it and has a cool design. The bookmark that comes with it is solid and I use it whenever I read. In terms of usefulness you could find better sources just because a game like this constantly changes but for collectors it is a joy to look back and reminisce.

it's hard to make a guide for a game like Diablo. but Brady did a great job with this one, The Cover looks beautiful great binding, the pages look spectacular and the way it's organised makes it very easy to find what your looking for. Diablo isn't a game that you can read the guide and just breeze through. You read it get a little insight and make the best choices you can for the character you built. Use the guide has a guide not a walk through

This book was so helpful, for a while. unfortunately with so many updates being done the book became obsolete very soon. But the whole package was really nice. Bookmark kinda silly, but very happy with the purchase. And thankyou for the reasonable price, alot better than blizzard offered. Thanks.

This is great book that not only provides a thorough guide for the game, but it also provides some great background information about each character class and the the Diablo universe in general. The book has some fantastic artwork and is built like a classic hard bound book is expected to be.

I read this more for the background stories than I do about the strategies and guides. You will not be disappointed.

I've been cautious of BradyGames guides since the original WoW guide was about half-full of completely useless information (a list of the names of every quest in the game, lists of item names that were spectacularly useless, etc.) and in general I have not found them to be as good as the Prima guides (like the spectacular Skyrim guide).

But this one is actually very nice, and the majority of the information is potentially useful. It also seems pretty accurate in terms of matching up with the actual first release of the game.

The Limited Edition comes with a metal bookmark (yawn) and a section on the armor artwork that was actually interesting to see, but otherwise is nothing special (the binding is nice though).

The bookmark has a sharp point that may damage the top of a book's page(s) if you push it all the way down onto a page.

The one thing I've found missing is a minimum-level information for item affixes. They tell you in a little box that each item affix has a minimum item level requirement, but they don't include that information in the list of affixes which was a bit annoying.

But otherwise pretty much all the information you could want is in here. The authors clearly spent a lot of time playing the game on different classes, but they probably didn't have enough time to try out too many builds, so their character build advice is above average for such a guide, though still not really that useful.

The full quest walk-throughs are provided for all four acts, but story information that isn't needed for fight strategy is omitted so it's not a complete spoiler for the story.

I learned a number of things I didn't know before (the exact scaling for creatures based on the number of players in co-op for example) so the guide has actually been useful for us in playing the game.

I didn't receive it until after the Normal play-through was complete, and that's probably the best way to do it so that you enjoy the story and whatnot the first time through, after which the guide becomes a useful reference as you proceed into Nightmare mode or roll a new class.

G.
