To summarize, buy that products if you may, but don't waste your time trying to get reasonable help when it fails.

Started out fine, but after 9 days this power supply made a popping noise and died when I shut down my PC.

Seriously stay away from this one just because of the customer support. Mine failed after 6 weeks of light use. I went to their website and filled out an RMA request. I received an e-mail stating that someone would contact me by phone or e-mail. I heard nothing back from them for 2 days so I filled out another RMA request. Received the same type e-mail saying someone would contact me. 2 more days pass. I call the TOLL number (no toll free) and a guy answers the phone "Hello?". I had to ask if it was Diablotek. He said that it was. He must have been wearing a very bad headset as I couldn't understand much of what he said. I explained my situation that my PS had failed. He tried getting me to go to the website to fill out an RMA request. At that point I told him that I had already done that twice and I wasn't going to do it again. He asked my name and took a few minutes to look it up. He told me that he found it. He proceeds to tell me that I needed to wait for another e-mail that would give me the RMA number and directions to send it back. He also asked how do I know it's the PS. I told him that, luckily, I had a spare PS and installed that one and the computer works fine. I could tell in his voice that he didn't like my answer. Anyways, they won't ship a new one out until I send the old one back and they test it. Of course I have to pay all shipping charges and have it tracked (more money) by UPS or FedEx. I've decided that I don't want another Diablotek PS and am just going to eat the cost of this one. If I can stop just one person from purchasing anything from Diablotek my efforts here will be rewarded. I realize the people that aren't happy are the first to leave a review. I get it; but this is more than 1 bad PS.Read more ›

For the ultra-low price of 30 dollars, this 600 watt PSU is bang for the buck. Other 600 watt PSUs cost around $70 or $80.

It includes tons of connectors (too much for some people), and it has two fans.

The fans are a little loud in the first couple weeks you use the PSU, but it gets quieter after a period of time; I don't know if the fans are breaking-in (not "breaking") or my ears are adjusting to it.

The power supply is working great for being 4 months since I have purchased it.

I am using this with an AMD Radeon HD6850 and it is performing well.

I play Crysis, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Bulletstorm, and Grand Theft Auto IV on high settings and the PSU performs without a hitch.

I was also running extremely intensive GPU tests with FurMark and Unigine Heaven(for GPU overclocking) and the PSU still delivered.

This PSU is also powering 4 hard drives (two 3.5 inch and three 2.5 inch drives), 3 fans, a Wifi adapter, and an Intel Core i5.

This Diablotek power supply was easy to install and gave me all the power I need for my new graphics card. The only problem I had was the plug port hit a little bit of metal on my ATX case. I had to bend the metal out of the way in order to screw the power supply in securely.

The fan is not too noisy. It's a basic background hum that I can't really distinguish from the hum of my other fans, so I'm quite happy with that.

There are plenty of plugs that come with it, most of which I didn't use. Better to have too many than not enough. There are two cable ties that came with it to control the clutter.

What's in the package?
- 2 cable ties to control wire clutter
- 4 screws to secure the power supply to the ATX case
- one 20/24 pin motherboard connector
- one 4 pin +12V motherboard connector
- four 4 pin molex connectors
- one 4 pin floppy power connector
- 4 SATA connectors
- one 6/8 pin PCI-Express connector
- 1 power cord
- one power supply (500W maximum combined wattage)
- 3 year limited warranty

So far, so good. I am happy with this purchase.

A $30.00 600W power supply? Must be junk, right?

Well, I took a chance, because I was low on cash, and I've just installed it. My graphics card requires two six-pin connectors, and this PSU provided 2x2, so I've got juice for SLI if my motherboard had room. The fan is whisper quiet (I don't know if the free shock absorber is having any effect, but I'm not taking it off) and the molex connectors are as slick as I've seen.

Plenty of molex and sata connectors, and the cables are plenty long for my desktop tower, might be a little short for a server.

Still - at $30.00? Unbelievable. If it fails in a week, I'll update this review, otherwise it's a great buy.

I'm happy the Diablo 400W power supply. I had a year old mail server which had become unstable and unusable, and I was about to junk the hardware, but a friend suggested that power supply problems could be the issue. I googled around and ended up ordering the Diablo unit. After replacing the original power supply with the Diablo, the server has been 100% reliable. The Diablo 400W power supply runs quiet and cool, does the job reliably, and was not expensive. what more can I say?
