This shoe is fit for purpose. It is not leather which surprised me. It fits correctly but is not overly compfortable. As an older referee it does not have the cushoning I would prefer so I use heal inserts.

Upon opening the shoes I had trouble lacing one shoe as the eyelets had not been punched out in the top row which required me to find some tools to open the eyelets.

After about 20 games I find the shoes serviceable and they were the low cost option so I would get them again.

I've had these for about 8+ mo. As an Sports Official for the price nothing beats it. I use to buy an all black low cut leather like Nike that I gor from BOBS , But Nike discontinued them ? That was 2 years ago @ 69 bucks .these Italian shoes do the job fine. Very light weight great on grass or turf.

Good Shoes. Lasted me two years, four seasons of games including adult league and high school. Well worn out after 350+ games but never lost traction (even on rain-covered turf fields) and was never unsupportive.
Word of warning you might want to buy a 1/2 size bigger than your usual shoe. For some reason my first choice of size was slightly tight on the toes.

Excellent all-black look for professionalism. Comfortable on turf or artificial turf, airated enough to keep your feet from smelling too much. Great for use at tournaments. Take care of these and they will last for two or more seasons. Clean thoroughly when using in muddy conditions, or they will deteriorate, as will all unkept footwear. Recommended for all levels of soccer officiating.

These shoes were far too narrow. I have what I consider to be normal size feet (size 42), and with the laces completely loose, I still struggled to get my feet into the shoes. I had to return them.

Like any other shoe, you have to break these in and get used to them. They aren't perfectly comfortable right out of the box. But since I was wearing cleats for several years, I immediately noticed the difference.

Make sure they fit, otherwise they may fall off if you make a sudden change in direction while officiating.
