I have played around with (DIY) screens for some time, and decided it was time to get a "real" one. This one is of surprisingly good quality for the price. I even dealt with their customer service on a very minor issue and they were excellent.
Note: This screen does not allow remote control signals to pass through it and it muffles sound if the speakers are behind it. Maybe most are that way - I don't know, but it's an important consideration in fitting such a large item into your home theater environment. One more important consideration is that you need to catch two beams to mount this and it's a 94" span. If your house is like mine, and like most the beams are 16" apart. It worked out fine for me (luckily) I caught a floor joist (lengthways) with 4" lag bolts.

You get what you pay for.
The screen didn't retract when I used it for the first time. I tried and tried and tried, but no luck. After I struggled against it for a whole hour, I decided to send it back. I contacted the seller and they told me I should contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer's response was very quick. The following is what they told me. It maybe works for someone who experiences the same problem as me. --"...You might try taking the screen off the wall while extended and turn the case upside down (with the help of your friend) and see if the locking mechanism will disengage. Sometimes the screen can become jammed during transit and once freed it will work properly. Inverting the screen will allow gravity to assist rather than just inertia. " I didn't try this method although I believe it should work. I rolled the screen from the bottom rod and put it on the top of the book shelf before I email the manufacturer. When I was about to try the above method last night, I take it off the book shelf and it just retracted by itself. Maybe it was because the spring recovered after the whole night of rest. Although it can not retract all the way back and leave a little bit screen hanging out of the case, I'm OK with that. My suggestion is, DO NOT PULL IT ALL THE WAY DOWN, STOP WHEN THE WHITE SCREEN IS OUT OF CASE. Otherwise, the picture on screen is good, and it does have strong smell as someone mentioned in his/her review. Bottom line: this is a budget screen, don't expect too much of it. If you can, buy a better model or brand.

I use this screen with my Mitsubishi HC4900 1080p projector.
The image is fantastic. The blacks are good, the colors are vibrant, and the image very crisp on this screen. It's not too heavy and is easy to install.

Cannot unreservedly recommend this screen - read further for details,

The screen was inexpensive. I did not expect perfection and did not get it. The screen will not stay down in locked position(s). This does not matter as I am weighing the entire bottom bar down and the tension seems good for the evenness of the screen.
There is a formaldehyde-like smell to screen when extended that is slowly going away. I leave the screen down w/fan and open windows all night. After 2 weeks the smell is still here but is lessened. I think it will be OK in time. I do like the projected image very much. And the screen has a very smooth surface showing few waves after 2 weeks. I am happy with the screen as a projection surface. However, I cannot completely recommend this screen. It will do for my situation. For the entire cost (less than $100 including shipping and tax) it was a good purchase (and lesson) for me. EDIT: After about a month the smell is almost gone. The screen still needs to be secured in the down position but that is not a problem for me. I do like the PQ this screen delivers. EDIT: After 2 months the smell was completely gone. The screen works well for me.

Have been using this screen for over a week now and love it. I don't think you could ask for more at this price. The smell will get you for the first hour or two you use it, then it's fine. Some kind of chemical they use in making it.
The mechanisim inside that rolls it up and down can be finiky, but works. I've heard you should keep it rolled up when not in use to keep it from becoming wavy over time. Worse case scenario you could mount this screen to a wood frame and still be saving a couple hunderd bucks at least though. I say BUY IT. For this price, again, you cannot go wrong.

The screen itself works OK. But it looks like a cheap product. Everything is made of plastic. The rod on the bottom is wrapped with the bottom end of screen fabric and stapled together. And the plastic smell was very strong. It had a few dark scratchs on it and could not be easily removed. We returned it.

Bought this screen to complement my Mitsubishi HC1500 and couldn't be happier. I echo the sentiments of all the other reviewers - easy to install, great image even on low bulb, and geez you can't beat the price.
I will say that extending and retracting the screen does feel a bit on the "cheap" side, and I'm sure a premium screen would feel like butter. However if you give it the proper care and go easy on it, it will perform well for a long time. Shout out to the seller (ANTOnline) - as they were prompt, had great followup and delivered exactly what was expected. Recommended.

This screen is a really excellent value, esp. at this price (even with the shipping charge added on, since it's an odd-shaped item). I got this to use in combo with my Mitsubishi HC1500 DLP Projector and it works well (you can buy them as a combo at Amazon, though i bought my projector separately). As others have noted, sometimes retracting it can take a couple of tries, but it will roll up into the housing. The picture thrown on it is very good, particularly the Blu-Ray hi-def image from a PlayStation that we tried it with. I mounted the screen using heavy-duty shelf brackets (to bring it off the wall, in front of the backmasking) and it works really well. I used S-hooks thru the metal clips though there are screw/bolt holes as well in the housing. A quality item at a terrific price (all in, i think this ran me around $90 including shipping).

This screen is a good deal compared to all the others I looked at. It is not a high end screen, but if you are like me and want a good screen but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars this is the screen.
I was able to mount it to the wall by first taking some 1x4 wood blocks I cut about 4 inches long and then screwing the blocks to the wall header plate; then installed two screws on these blocks for the screen to simply slide onto. I did not really like the white color of the screen housing, so I decided to take a 99 cent can of black spray paint and paint it black. I taped off the bottom part of the screen, rolled it up and sprayed the housing. I think it looks a lot better now. The image from my 1080P projector look great, I am happy with this purchase. It is tricky to figure out how to get it to roll up, but I plan on leaving it down most of the time.

Pleasantly Surprised!,
This review is from: 100IN Diagonal Accuscreens HDtv Manual Wall Ceiling 49X87IN (Electronics)
I had been toying with the idea of building my own screen for my projector for a few months. I began pricing materials for different builds and came to the following conclusion, it was cheaper to buy this screen than to build my own. Granted, this screen is a manual pull-down and not the fixed frame that I was getting if I built it but, for the value, the picture is gorgeous. The only cheaper solution would be simply painting your wall with one of a few special mixes that can be found online. I was unable to go that route due to having plaster walls in my basement (100 year old home.) This screen worked out perfectly, I was able to mount it into the floor joists in the ceiling, which have no problem supporting the 28lbs that the screen weighs. As someone mentioned the length from hanger to hanger is 94", so just a touch shy of 8 feet wide. This is exactly what I was wanting at 100" diagonal. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but very effective screen for the projector. Some others had mentioned the "smell" of the screen and I will agree that it is definitely present however, after about 3 days there is no trace of smell at all. I would compare it to a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips, that is about what it smells like, not overwhelming by any means. I was able to watch the recent UFC fights on it this pass Saturday and the look on people's faces was worth it. My five year old niece loves watching her movies on the screen and the colors really pop off of the white material. It may not be a top of the line screen but it is more than enough for my theater! The only thing I wish is that the actual metal housing for the screen was black instead of white but, this will be easily remedied by installing a 2x10 to act as a sort of valance to cover the housing. Overall I couldn't be happier with the purchase, and would encourage any one who is on the fence about constructing their own screen to price the materials and factor in labor and try to justify the work. Not to mention this is made by Draper, who is no slouch when it comes to home theater screens.
