I love the jigsaw version and adding the diagonals, makes it even better.
It's one of my favorites. It's more interesting somewhat hard but doable.

Can be challenging-especially puzzle 125,

Well, I didn't find these boring and some were definitely NOT easy. Especially Puzzle 125. It was labeled as hard with four stars, I'd say it was definitely a 5 star. Needed to use every aspect to solve this one logically, (jigsaw, squares and diagonal!). Most of the 1 and 2 stars and some of the 3 star puzzles you could solve ignoring either the jigsaw or the squares, but the harder puzzles needed the puzzler to use both kinds of logic.
I thought it worth the money.

If you're tired of ordinary sudoku, and frustrated with "Extreme" or "Hard"; this book provides a variant where you can attack even toughest puzzles. By looking at the puzzle four different ways you can exercise your spatial sense along with building rows, columns, and diagonals.
Builds from one and two star puzzles to five star. Allows the solver to get used to keeping the diagonal, and jigsaw pattern in mind. Enjoy.

Major disappointment,

Boring. This is just another book of regular Sudoku puzzles that the author has created, solved, then carved into jigsaws. The normal squares are shaded, jigsaws are outlined, and diagonal lines are dotted. Very busy and hard to look at. The usual unique nine number rules apply for the shaded boxes, rows, columns, diagonals, and the jigsaws. It sounded challenging, but these can be solved like any "gentle" Sudoku puzzles, while ignoring the jigsaw shapes. The only challenge was for the puzzle creator.
