From Library Journal
This is a collection of short tape messages that were used on the author's Dial-An-Atheist phone service over the past few years. Zindler, the director for Ohio's American Atheists and producer of cable TV's American Atheist Forum , has collected 250 short (under two pages) scripts, most of which concern news stories or the Bible. The texts are well written if rather lightweight. Unfortunately, the book's last 20 pages are nothing more than a propaganda platform for the organization's president, Madalyn Murray O'Hair, who touts the association, asks for new members, and urges the importance of installing more phone message units. This "feature" destroys any real utility the book may have had, making it an unnecessary purchase.
