This review is from: Dial Corp. 37811 Zout Stain Remover
love the product very much. It is the only stain remover that actually works. I would highly recommend it to anyone,it is great.
I found a very small bottle of Zout one time at a Dollar Tree store and ever since I bought that little bottle,I could never find another one till I found it on the internet. Whoever invented Zout,I would like to thank them personally for creating a five star product. Please do not ever stop making this product.

not great for baby poo,

seems to work as well as, maybe better than most - but we have an infant, and it is NOT effective on the baby poop, even when sprayed, allowed to stand as directed and washed immediately. washed items 2-4 times using the spray each time before drying - and no luck :o(. but it does seem to work on everything else...just don't expect a miracle!

Really Works - Even on Old Stains,
By Charles G. "An Engineer and Business Person" (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: Dial Corp. 37811 Zout Stain Remover
I had a brand new shirt that I wore to dinner and then hung back up without washing. The next time I went to wear it about 6 weeks later, I noticed a small, but noticeable grease stain on the front of it.
I tried Spray and Wash, and Tide detergent, twice, but the stain just laughed at it. Next I tried Oxy Clean in a washing machine, which lightened the stain but it was still definitely noticeable. I had forgotten that an ex girl friend had gotten me to buy Zout: she said her mother swore by it. I found it and figured the shirt was a goner, so I had nothing to lose. I put a few drops on, put my thumb on the back of the part with the stain and finger on the front and rubbed for about 30 seconds, fairly hard, as instructed. I let it sit for ten minutes and then hand washed it with a little tide. I figured I would try doing this twice, but the stain came completely out on the first try! The ex girlfriend's mom was right! The now 8 week stain was completely gone. Note: don't ever apply heat to a stain. With all of those tries, I had never put the shirt in the dryer. Perhaps Zout still would have worked anyway, but if you can avoid doing it, you'll have an easier time removing it.

To all of the people who always dribble food on them selves, this is the best product for you. You will never have grease spot on you clothe again. You can use this on any fabric. Great for removing, red wine, food stains and pen stain.

Best Stain Remover Ever,

This review is from: Dial Corp. 37811 Zout Stain Remover
I have used Dial Corp. 37811 Zout Stain Remover product for years, since it was recommended by my nurse sister. It gets out everything: blood, grass stains, red wine, vomit, even lipstick. I prefer the gel rather than spray because gel controls placement of the product better. No rubbing necessary. Just put it on, mush it around a bit, and toss into the wash. I've never had any color loss, but I would test it when in doubt.

ZOUT ... BEST SYAIN REMOVER EVER,

This is the ONLY stain remover that truly removes EVERYTHING...including blood. I'm a diabetic who needs twice daily injections which I give to myself on my stomach so more often than not I get little blood stains on my clothing. NOT TO WORRY as long as I have ZOUT to dab on those stains right before laundering. NOTHING else on the market removes blood...MANY thanks to this product!

Best Chocolate Stain Remover,

I was so happy that I was able to find this product on Amazon! The local grocery stores had stopped carrying it. It is the best of the top 3 stain removers for getting out chocolate - especially if you have children.

Fake perfumes emit Horrid vomit smell,
By negu (Athens, GA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dial Corp. 37811 Zout Stain Remover
This product is awful, I really don't get why people like it so much. The scent seems borderline acceptable when you sniff it at the store. However, after you treat a shirt and put it through the wash, the food/color stain may be gone, but the stain that remains is a scent that one can no longer remove. This permanent scent is as if someone is trying to cover up the smell of vomit with fake grape and lavender. It's truly, frighteningly gross. I'm very angry that ZOUT inflicted this product on the marketplace. --> Just to pre-counter anyone who would say I'm a unique 'smeller', I have no known allergies, I'm not a supertaster, nor am I a bloodhound, and I've had another non-relative person smell what I've smelled also. So in other words, I'm not special. Not special like short bus that the scent of zout stain remover rides to school in. At any rate, I have a term for this type of product, within the context of laundry: "poverlaundry". It's because you can smell poor people even more when they are clean because they use the most fake-fragrant, offensive-industrially-perfumed detergent on their clothes. If your clothes smell from detergent as much or more as your designer-imposter old spice, then you might be poor. In conclusion, poor people trade their alcohol vomit for detergent vomit that is clean looking. Thank you I'm here all night. If one were to use a pair of goggles that could see their scent-aura, their clothes would look like pigpen from peanuts cartoon, perpetually emitting a large number of vomitron (tm) particles in every direction, but the product would call this fragrance either 'beach' or 'forest' or 'fresh laundry'. Zout, get with the program. Make an unscented version and because you are putting less into the product, you get to charge double, just like Tide, Arm and hammer and the others do. Until then, I'll spare myself the vomit and just throw my clothes away if I can't get the stain out. This is preferable to staining my clothes with said vomitron particles. |
