About the Author
Maria Kay Simms, an astrologer for over 30 years, is the author of eight books and contributor to several others. She is also an artist and illustrator. Her astrological credentials include professional certification from American Federation of Astrologers and from National Council for Geocosmic Research, Inc., an organization of which she served six years as the first woman Chairperson. She is a member of Association for Professional Astrologers International.

Ms.Simms book is an excellent introduction to cosmobiology and uranian astrology. She explains the logical reasoning behind cosmobiology and uranian astrology in an open, honest, left brain and right brain manner. She makes the subject utterly logical and enthralling. I recommend anything she writes.

Dial Dectective is a very good teaching tool and first time instruction booklet on the use of the Dial. If a person has only a basic knowledge of astrology and termology I would reduce the rating to 2 1/2 stars. Even the author stated that one must have a working knowledge of astrology. Charts, steps and bibliography sources are excellent. I am happy with the purchase.
