If you are a fan of any kind of emo or indie rock you will love this cd.

The band continues their progression into pop music, but still keeps their adventurous guitars and larger-than-life harmonies intact.

Brandtson poise a unique sound which not many bands can conquer as well as them. With the beautiful dual vocals of lead signer Myk Porter, and drummer Jared Jolley, Brandtson vocals harmonies are spot on. With this record, Brandtson show the world how brillant they are. Having first heard Brandtson when they headlined the first every 'Baybeats' Festival in Singapore, which they were awesome, they sounded as good as their record, if not better. Whats really different about 'Dial In Sounds', is the whole album is perfect. And trust me, im not just saying that. From the start of 'Mark It A Zero', till the end of 'Fireworks And Phonecalls', Brandtson maintain their consistancy through out of making very good music. You can listen to ever track and enjoy them, which hard to say of other records.

I really love this record, because i can put it on when ever i feel and i will still enjoy it as much as the first listen. I recommend this record because you will be very impressed and surely enjoy it. And if you do have a chance, do catch them live because they are awesome.

If there's any justice in the world, Brandtson will rise to the top of the emo-pop world with this release. Absolutely incredible. The band continues their progression into pop music, but still keeps their adventurous guitars and larger-than-life harmonies intact. These songs range from straight out hook-laden rockers to quirkier slow songs, and every single one of them is awesome. "Cherokee Red" has one of those hauntingly familiar melodies that never leaves. "Guest List" is fun and energetic, similar to something off of the band's last EP. Although this is obviously Brandtson, the pop influences are much more pronounced, and the album feels like something new and fresh. This is not a definitive album for the band, but it is certainly their best effort to date, and should get them the exposure they need to go down as one of the finest rock bands of our day.

an incredible cd people! an instant underground classic! a rising band with a following in the underground indie/emo genre. brandtson is former members of a metal band called six feet under. they have taken the technicallity and the emotion of metal and thrown it successfully into their new style of music. they play and sing with passion on this their newest release. dont short-change yourself though, dont just buy this cd, buy all of them. they are an incredibly tight band with two vocalists who shred/whisper/scream/sing their way through the music. they sing with passion and with an obvious love of what they are doing. if you like emo/rock/pop/indie style of music, check these guys out, they are guaranteed to be amazing!

brandtson is definitely my favorite band right now.i own all their CDs and this has to be their best CD to date. they've mastered the harmony that they were so well known for in "trying to figure eachother out" and "fallen star collection". you can listen to each CD and hear them progress until you get to this one, where it all comes together in this beautiful mastery of pop-indie rock. buy this. right now.
