Customer Reviews

I will try all the product over time but I don't expect much.

Never had a problem using them: no discoloration of clothes, no cedar smell on clothes, and no moths or insects in general.

Great product - must be recharged periodically - plasic bag in the sun works great!

These balls are real cedar. Put them in your closet, and they will repel moths. We had a moth infestation in our house, but once I put these in the closet the moths stayed out. They would fly around in the rest of my bedroom, but would not go into the closet. No chemicals needed!

After about a year you may need to sand the balls to refresh the cedar scent. Rub them gently with sandpaper, and they will be good as new.

These cedar balls are about the size of a kid's bouncy ball you find in dispensers at the mall and grocery store. Very fragrant. Very satisfied with the whole Cedar Fresh line - I purchased a Cedar & Lavender spray from them to use in conjunction with the balls.

I use the balls in little sachets I sewed myself from a brand spankin' new handkerchief, which I then placed in small zip-up sweater bags containing my cashmere and my woolen sweaters for the summer months. I used about 4 balls per sachet, which seems sufficient. I'd buy them again, and probably will in a few years!

Used these once because my grandmother in Arizona had leftovers. Never had a problem using them: no discoloration of clothes, no cedar smell on clothes, and no moths or insects in general.

I throw these in my sweater drawers. They do a good job of keeping the moths away and keep my sweaters from developing any sort of undesirable smell.

I put these cedar balls among the clothes in my drawers a few weeks ago. I can't attest to whether they keep moths away in the long term (so far so good). But my experience with the effectiveness of cedar in keeping away moths is excellent. These cedar balls are completely smooth and are just as advertised.

The cedar moth balls are delightfully and very slightly scented. I remember my other using them, and was thrilled to find them on Amazon. They do the job, but they do not create the smelly effect associated with similar products. Having a lot of stored clothing, etc., it has been great finding this old favorite of mine. Thinking about the "famous bridal" cedar chest, this is just as good. You will be pleasantly surprised! Rosemarie Conover

I have not seen another moth since I began to use these balls. They smell great and they are effective.

They're emphatic about the need for a closed small container. So, if you want to put it in a garment bag, okay, but not for a closet. And even the garment bag warns of staining potential & to protect fabric. They should have put a sleeve around them if that's a problem. I won't buy again.
