Excellent Low Power Graphics Adapter,

This is the second adapter of this design that I have purchased. Its best qualities are 512MB of RAM and its ability to operate without overtaxing the stock power supply in each of the quad-core systems. Drivers support both 32bit and 64bit systems (32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate and 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise in my case). Its performance is acceptable with demanding computer games like Flight Simulator X and Total War variants. If I needed another graphics adapter and was similarly constrained by stock power supply wattage, I would buy another one of these.

I bought this card as an HD for a home theater computer, using a 37" LCD the playback is choppy at best. Over the air HD, or internet video. I have even tried lowering to 720p, but still choppy. DVDs seem to run fine.

I bought this card to make a home media center out of an old lenovo IBM thinkcenter PC. When I went to install it the heat sink was way to large. My son ended up with this card in his PC and has notice much better video preformace over the Nvida card that is now in my media center.

Its a good grafics card for the money, but if you want to play fps games such as fallout 3 it recomends playing at medium settings.if you want to play fallout 3 at ultra high settings, then spend the extra cash and buy a radeon 4870 card instead.oh and make sure your power supply is rated for a minimum of 500 wats of power.I had to change it in my gxp dell gamming computer,i put a 610 wats in mine, but its very much worth it.other than that, its an ok card and well worth the money.

I use my desktop PC for gaming and advanced pro-level photographic applications, including Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom (among other processing software).
My <2-year-old PC is already a pretty fast machine, with an Intel 3.4 gig CPU and 2 gigs of RAM and on-board ATI-200, but it was straining and choppy with the graphics of current games like NWN2 MOB. On the other hand, I didn't want to spend $300 - $600 for a graphics card to upgrade a computer that only cost about $500 to begin with. This card is the perfect solution! Not only is the price right in the ballpark of reasonability, but I was very surprised at the improvement of the quality of the graphics. On rerunning some of the gaming sequences, the improvement was simply astonishing! Great value and performance from a proven supplier in ATI Radeon.

I purchased this card to get an S-Video output to connect with my home theater system, which is still using an analog TV. The card I received (from Buy<dot>com) had an HDMI output instead, even though the included manual still gave directions to connect to the S-Video port! I contacted Diamond via their web site and asked for advice. Four business days later my question had not even been viewed, so I called their phone number. Surprisingly, they answered and he explained that the cards presently shipping have HDMI. Conversion isn't possible, so I sent for an RMA and shipped it back. I then purchased an XFX Radeon HD4670 from Micro Center in Chicago, on sale for $67.99. I have connected the TV as a second monitor, so I can just open a media player and drag it over onto the TV. I also bought a Logitech wireless laser mouse to have control from the living room. I think if you're looking for an S-Video output you have to see it to believe it at this point, or be prepared to ship cards back until you find one. Apparently some manufacturers believe all analog TVs vanished with the conversion to digital broadcast.
